FixThePrompt is a browser extension that analyzes AI prompts locally on your device. Your privacy is important to us—here's exactly what the extension does and doesn't do.

Your prompts and text are analyzed entirely within your browser. Nothing is ever sent to external servers. We have no analytics, no tracking, and no way to see what you type.
The extension stores only your preferences in Chrome's local storage:
This data never leaves your device and can be cleared by removing the extension.
FixThePrompt does not connect to any external servers or third-party services. All functionality is completely self-contained within the extension.

Host permissions
Access to claude.ai, chat.openai.com, chatgpt.com, and gemini.google.com only—to detect and analyze text in AI chat input fields. The extension cannot access any other websites.
All prompt analysis is performed using local JavaScript heuristics. You can inspect exactly what the extension does—there are no hidden network calls or data transmission.
If we ever change how the extension handles data (we don't plan to), we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
